We will begin with
a complimentary consultation where I come to your home, get to know
you and your pet as well as the logistics of your home. You will fill
out the customer information sheet and I will get a copy of your keys.

As a dog owner myself, I understand that
your dog is more than just your pet. They are family. There is nothing
more worrisome than to board your beloved pet or to decide who will
watch your pet while you are away. It can also be difficult to find
the right place or to ask family or friends to take on the responsibilities
of watching your dog(s). The perfect solution? Let me watch your
pet in the comfort of their environment. There are multiple visits
available each day. You can relax knowing that your pet will be
cared for. I will treat your dog as my own.

• DOG WALKING
Exercise is the number one priority in
order to create a balanced and harmonious state of mind for your
dog. Basic physical activity can easily be overlooked with all of
the responsibilities that are placed upon families each day. Putting
your dog in the yard is not enough. A minimum of 45 minutes of exercise
is necessary for your dog to be happy and fulfilled. I have found
that vigorous walking can rid a dog of anxiety, obsession and bad
behavior. Let me do the walking, jogging, playing and hiking for
you. Walks range from 30, 45 to 60 minutes. Dog hikes are also available
(see pricing).

Massage Therapy
Zen Pup is proud to offer Animal
Acupressure Massage Therapy. I am certified from the Animal Acupressure
Massage Training Center in Nevada City, California. Acupressure
is an ancient healing art and branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
During the 60-90 minute session, I work with your pet to identify
their source energy or Qi (pronounce Chi). Energy needs to flow
unimpeded to every part of the body to maintain good health. Unbalanced
or blocked Qi can create anxiety, illness and overall dis-ease in
your dog.
I specialize in senior/geriatric dogs, hip dysplasia and arthritis.
Preventative massage is recommended to assist your dog to live a
long, healthy life with less physical problems. Please note that
I do not diagnose any health problems with your dog but work along
with your veterinarian to create a balanced treatment.
• OVERNIGHT STAYS AND HOUSE SITTING NOW AVAILABLE
Zen Pup is proud to offer in-home overnight sitting. This service is especially appreciate by dogs who dislike being taken out of their home and normal routine. Your dog and other family pets will be fed and played with as well as these other great benefits: Home security, mail and newspaper collection, watering of plants and waste pick up.
